Power resistors
Danotherm-Ate power resistors are used into electronic equipment to perform various functions. Some examples are: snubbers, voltage dividers, discharge resistors, and start or charge resistors.
An important application is braking resistors in connection with frequency converters for the engine control. We can supply brake resistors as components for integrated or standalone units.
In some applications the braking energy can be reused as heating energy. For this reason, Danotherm-Ate has a dedicated compact water-cooled aluminum solution.
Danotherm-Ate has a wide products range, from flat to wirewound resistors to compact aluminum housed braking resistors to steel grid braking resistors, to large modules built with water cooled break resistors.
